Born at Khan Kahi Sokta, Safakadal, Srinagar, Kashmir in 1958 in a famous Dhar clan to Pt. Girdhari Lal and Smt. Girja Dhar and was brought up with extreme affection.

*After passing High School received Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Kashmir University was Felicitated with State Award by J&K government for my painting in the Annual State Art Exhibition in the year 1982 by the then CM Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah.

*Received Masters Degrees in "English and Hindi Literature" as well from University of Rajasthan.

*Have been making paintings and Sculptures for the past 40 years as freelancer.

*Have painted more than 2000 paintings which include many sculptures as well.

*Was a regular participant of National Art Exhibitions till 1998.

*Have been displaying my paintings in the form of One Man shows across many states in India.

*Wish is to paint Kashmiri Pandit history with my brush.

*About 19 paintings have already been displayed in the public platform in this regard, which display the atrocities on Kashmiri Pundits right from fourteenth century CA till date.

Apart from this, oil Paintings of great saints and sages, scholars, poets and artists have been made by me, which illustrate the age old cultural heritage of Kashmiri Pandits.

My book of stories in Hindi “PANKHUDIYAN” has already been published in August 2021. Presently putting up in Pilani Rajasthan.
